CERTIFICATES of AUTHENTICITY
A certificate of Authenticity is a document which is signed by the artist
to confirm that a piece of work is genuine. It usually lists the medium of the work
and the date it was completed, and other related information.
There is widespread abuse of the "CoA", and they are used to promote
all manner of products. There is no governing body overseeing the use of CoAs
but at least fourteen of the United States require a CoA, for the sale of fine art,
therfore NWand will issue a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist,
whenever a client purchases handmade artwork costing more than
fifty pounds sterling
Certificates can be requested with any piece of work but may incur
a small additional cost.
